Akshay Kumar Backed FAUG, A PUBG Alternative No One Asked For Will Be Out By October
PUBG alternatives aren’t new. When the first ban came out, several games popped up on the app store. Most mobile gaming apps were titled with variants of wordplay on PUBG. But what upped them all, is our Desi App FAU-G. The wordplay is effortless, the UI looks almost similar, and FAU-G is quite the trending topic on Twitter. Many people have welcomed the move supporting the actor Akshay Kumar for his national sentiment, but it is mostly memes.
About FAUGAs per a report by Reuters, FAUG aka Fearless and United Guards will make its official entry, next month, possibly by the end of October. The app’s co-founder, Vishal Gondal (CEO of GOQii) has suggested that the game was under development for some months.
nCore Games developed the app under the mentorship of popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. He mentored the FAUG App to follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Vocal for Local’ vision and go for Indian products and services for an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat.’ It remains to be seen how to game is like in terms of gameplay. Akshay Kumar announced the PUBG alternate a few days after the Indian Government banned 118 Chinese apps due to security and privacy concerns.
